Our Story
Turning struggle into hope for the next generation
Hope in Action was born from lived experience — and a promise that no child should have to feel what our founder felt.

Why I Started Hope in Action
I went to Gautier High School in Gautier, Mississippi. Every year I struggled to keep new clothes and shoes, and it affected my schoolwork more than anyone knew. I hope no child ever goes through what I went through.
I believe I paid the dues for every child who is walking that same road today. I don't want anyone else in the world to feel what that felt like — so I'm putting my hope into action.
After serving in the U.S. military, I promised myself I would come home and build something that gave students the confidence I didn't have. Hope in Action is that promise, kept.
"Providing Hope. Inspiring Confidence. Changing Lives."
Our Vision
Every student, every year, walking into school with everything they need.
We start with a goal of 500 students this year — and we grow that number every single year, community by community, until no student is left behind.
